SquareTrade wanted to create a viral marketing campaign for their warranty packages using video.  The focus is how a Blackberry Playbook can break when you simply drop it. How could I not want to do this.

A series of drops with the Playbook resulted in, wait for it, the screen breaking.  After a number of post screen break drops, the Playbook still functioned, as long as you don’t mind shredding your finger on shard edges across the screen.  This enabled us to capture 720p footage with the front facing camera.  The rear facing reportedly shoots 1080.   720 was plenty for this web based, youtube, twitter... campaign.   Shot with 3 cameras, two HD (DrodX and Playbook front facing camera) and one SD (Panasonic 3CCD with a cheap wide angle lens) .
