A while back I cut this funny little video with the help of some good friends.  It is based on an all too true situation that actually went down, really.    Because it was such a strange encounter, that was witnessed by Dorothy, Emmett, and I one afternoon in Oakland, CA.  So what you will see here, is a realistic dramatization of the scene that went down ending up in lunchables sliding across the parking lot.  We call it a docudramedy.

Here it is: ETYFB

The music in the video isn't necessarily cleared, but you can check out the info about Tone Loc and Juelz Santana.  I heartily thank all of the musicians who have been featured in the telling of this story.  The big musical core of this story is performed by a talented Miss Ruby.

This is a pretty silly story, and is not meant to offend, shock, or otherwise get peoples panties all up in a bunch.  It is simply a snapshot of every day life in my former city, Oakland.

Tell you what, the first person who figures out where this was shot, throw the GPS coordinates down there in the comments.  The video was shot at the actual location where the events in the video really took place, so you know it is somewhere in Oakland, CA.  There should be enough info from the shots in the video to geo-locate the parking lot.

Spirited is a short subject feature produced by Magi 23 in 2006.

I was 1st. A.D. responsible for preparing each scene to be shot, continuity and special effects.

In addition to my off-screen tasks, I also appear in the film as 'Michael'.

This production was filmed in and around San Francisco.
